What's new in Storecall

A look at what we have been quietly building so your operations move a little smoother every day. Newest first.

September 2026

  • Nova Template Builder — Draft Audit, Log, and Approval templates in chat from Create or Edit Template.
  • Nova Home — Ask how Storecall works from a help assistant on Home.
  • Home layout — Reorder Home widgets and open KPI reports or the Template Library from Home.
  • Auto action submitter — Actions created from a submission can be recorded against the person who submitted.
  • Asset depreciation rules — Configure how asset value changes over time. Available when assets are enabled for your organisation.
  • Start, completion, and duration on reports — Reports can show when work started, when it finished, and how long it took.
  • Larger file uploads — Attachments can be up to 35 MB.

August 2026

Slack, manager oversight, and continuity rules.

  • Slack — Send Storecall events to Slack. Available when integrations are enabled for your organisation.
  • Manager group workflow — Managers can act across groups they oversee without impersonating those users, and without mixing that work into their personal Waiting For Me inbox.
  • Continuity rules — Require a submission to line up with a prior one — on logs, approvals, and linked workflows.
  • Item Matrix — Rows can include signatures, files, hidden columns, and dataset lookup without pre-filled rows.
  • Asset transition rules — Define how an asset moves between states, and edit usage records. Available when assets are enabled for your organisation.
  • In-progress form PDFs — Export a PDF while a form is still open, not only after it is closed.
  • Report shortcuts on Home — Pin reports as Home widgets so teams can open them in one tap.
  • Calculations from selections — Calculation fields can use dropdown or selection answers, not only numbers.
  • Compliance by user group — Control which groups see compliance reporting.
  • Mandatory comment on N/A — Templates can require a comment when someone answers N/A.

July 2026

Public forms, calendar, and KPI dashboards.

  • Public submissions — People outside Storecall can complete a form and hand it into your normal workflow.
  • Calendar view — Open submissions on a calendar as well as a list.
  • KPI Dashboard — Build dashboards with widgets, grouped totals, leaderboards, and PDF export.
  • Blended reports — Combine more than one template in a single report.
  • Field-level scoring — Score individual questions, and show section scores on the submission report.
  • Log timeline and status cards — Logs show a timeline of movement and colour-coded status cards.
  • N/A on or off — Templates can offer N/A, or hide it.
  • Drag-and-drop files — Drop files onto a submission instead of browsing for them.
  • Repeat comments — Collect a comment per row on repeating work, and include them on PDFs.
  • Action due dates — Actions can receive due dates automatically from the template.

June 2026

Template Library, Waiting For Me, and two-factor authentication.

  • Two-factor authentication — Turn on 2FA from the user profile.
  • Template Library — Browse and install ready-made Audit, Log, and Approval templates.
  • Template versions and preview — Keep draft and live versions, and preview a form or report without writing live data.
  • Waiting For Me — One inbox for logs, approvals, actions, today’s schedule, and drafts — including quick approve or reject where it is safe.
  • Search and filter submissions — Search by field values and filter View Submissions by status.
  • Custom columns — Choose which fields appear as columns on View Submissions.
  • Comment tags — Tag comments so follow-ups are easier to find.
  • Location leaderboard — Compare locations on a KPI leaderboard widget.
  • Editable by submitter — Fields can stay editable by the person who submitted after the form is in.
  • Files in Item Matrix — Attach files on individual matrix rows.
  • Log email body — Write a custom introduction on log status emails. The submitter can be included on those emails.
  • Switch organisation — People who belong to more than one organisation can switch from their profile.
  • Broadcast from a report — Send a note from a report into the related submission.

May 2026

Richer assets, exception PDFs, and linked-workflow context.

  • Favourite templates — Pin up to 15 templates for faster access.
  • Email attachments — Log status emails can include file attachments.
  • Custom log email subjects — Set the subject line used when a log changes status.
  • Parent context on child submissions — A linked child form can show context from its parent.
  • Secondary identifier — Submissions can carry a second visible reference, alongside the unique number.
  • Admin panel — Organisation admins have a dedicated place to manage the account.

April 2026

Integrations, Home widgets, and richer reports.

  • Integrations — Connect outbound webhooks from Settings, with rules per template. Available when integrations are enabled for your organisation.
  • Home widgets — Pin work, files, and recent activity on Home.
  • Dataset Lookup — Pull a shared list into a form field.
  • Composite and pivot reports — Combine locations in a composite report, and pivot section scores and other measures.
  • Top exceptions — See the highest-impact exceptions in a dedicated report view.
  • Expected answers on Yes / No — Mark the compliant answer so compliance reporting can score it.
  • Calculations that move status — A calculation result can advance a log or approval to the next status.
  • Scheduler ranges and contacts — Schedule across multiple day ranges, set run times, and notify more than one contact.
  • Report time windows — Limit a report to a specific window of the day.
  • Timeline on log emails — Status emails can include the log’s movement history.
  • Bulk user import and EFT billing — Import users in bulk, and pay by manual EFT.
